Back in the Mix

Been out of the darkroom for a while... a long while. Work, finals, other things getting in the way of my creativity. Don't fret though, I've got a new roll waiting to be processed and summer vacation begins tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I'll be going back home to NYC on Saturday night and hopefully I can get back into my high school's darkroom. So stay tuned for some really cool images (hint: music related) and here's some inspiration...

Messing around with contrast is one of my favorite things to do if you haven't noticed.

New Friends

Spring break is finally here so I decided to take a walk with my camera. Ran into these wonderful children of the Earth and made friends. Yay!

This Is Los Angeles

Took this shot out of my dorm window the other day, with some high contrast and SERIOUS burning for shading, I think it came out pretty dope.

This one I fogged a little bit, kind of a cool effect. Let me know which one you like better...

Chanel

It was a great weekend out in Big Bear and we made sure to check out all the vista points on the way back. I was working with a roll of Fuji Neopan 1600 film which gave me a pretty sick graininess.

Duncan

It was a great day when I shot this one. The Ugly Sweaters were playing a quad show but Duncan and Reppun decided a little skate sesh behind the stage was in order. Made for a great print and possibly more to come...

Rain Over Me

Here is a shot I took the week after Thanksgiving on campus. It was a really foggy day in LA, couldn't see fifty feet in front of you. The HP scanner in the library doesn't do it any justice but you get the idea.
